Those mule magazines, particularly, were very popular with the guys at the CoA waiting for lunch.<br /><br />They were shocked, though, at the prices being asked for the mules advertised in them. I have been fascinated to hear many interesting and sentimental stories about mules and working horses from these older people who grew up working horses and mules.<br /><br />I also love to hear about the ond-time remedies and beliefs held about equines. Most of the men sharing these stories remember when there were not many, if any, vets to call when your horse or mule was ill or injured.Mrs. H.B.
